I’m 27. I woke up one day a few months ago and realized I was on the wrong side of 25, fat, balding, and afraid of the world around me. I was working as an entrepreneur sure, but I wasn’t happy. I was isolated. Something needed to change immediately, or I’d be stuck in this lazy comfortable life forever. This wasn’t the life I had envisioned for myself. I needed to take action.
In the last 5 months, I’ve spent all of my free time reading recommended booklists from my favorite people in business. I’ve been learning new skills, learning book marketing by watching the best in the process. I’m learning from those who inspire me, or have done the things I want to do. Eventually I’ll have the skillsets to start living on my own terms. It’s time to hustle.
-mixing and mastering audio (I’ve mastered and edited tracks used for performances in front of over 1000 people)
-scheduling, logistics, organizing speakers for seminars.- I have helped organize 10 speaker seminars with 350 people audiences- I can wake up at 5 and work till midnight if that’s what it takes to keep guests happy.
-video editing. Need smooth transitions? Need to cut out, render, get rid of artifacting? I got you covered. I can use Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier Pro proficiently.
-writing blog posts, writing for newsblogs, editing, researching, and writing copy. I worked for a year as a Digital Media Analyst- it was a fancy title that meant I did everything from filming for streaming live coverage for elections, down to writing and researching for clients and posts. I also wrote advertisements for radio broadcasts. I also wrote all the copy for our first company, which can be found at http://www.relaxingsoda.com
-Online marketing- I am proficient with social media, SEO, getting newsblog coverage, guestposting, and website design. I gleaned much of my marketing and design experience from the first start up I worked at. It is now defunct, but our website is up- you can see how much press we got HERE. The rest of my marketing knowledge is from reading a lot and, most notably, learning under Noah Kagan.
-Online book/product launches, awareness, and campaigns. My campaigns have been in the beverage space- mostly timing and organizing press releases. I have not run any book campaigns yet, but have studied Tim Ferriss’ last two book launches, James Altucher’s last book launch, Ryan Holiday’s last book launch, as well as Charlie Hoehn’s. I have emailed and asked them questions, and am eager to put all of this knowledge to work.
Feel free to email me if you’re interested in working with me- I work hard and fast-and I like getting results. I’m extremely flexible and driven. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
